Grits: A Southern Experience

Creole Crawfish Dip

Appetizer

Served hot in the skillet with a side of buttermilk biscuits! This dish welcomes your taste buds with a bit of heat, smokey Gouda, and spicy crawfish. 


Grilled Peach Salad

Small Plate

A mixture of mixed greens, grilled peaches, and candied pecans; this salad is tossed lightly with a sweet tea vinaigrette.


Smoked Brisket, Grits, and Collards

Entree

We rub our beef brisket with our signature coffee rub and let the smoker take control for about 8 hours. Served with a side of our H.O.G. BBQ Sauce. To accompany, we pair with smoked gouda grits and collard greens cooked with smoked turkey legs

Hummingbird Cupcakes

Dessert

A traditional Hummingbird cake (a moist cake with pineapple, banana, and toasted pecans) and add a sorghum buttermilk frosting to the top.

We offer a nice refreshing bowl of blackberries, strawberries, peaches, and watermelon! Just to make sure you get that extra crunch we toss in a little toasted pecan as well!

Roasted beets, carrots, sweet potato, and russets fill out this deliciously herby and vegan knock out side dish!


The Grits Benedict

We start with a grits griddle cake and top that with a piece of ham steak, collard greens, and finish off with a nice fried egg.

Think we forgot about a sweet tooth? Oh no. This beignet bar is complete with apple butter, caramelized onion jam, powdered sugar, sorghum butter, and a sweet tea glaze that will fill the hungriest of cravings!

You take these two french toasts, and then you add some smoked brisket, then you layer it with some nice Havarti, then you add a little rhubarb sauce to it, then dust it with a little powdered sugar. Then you walk away from it. Why? Didn't your momma tell you never to toy with sin?

Beyond decadent! It's almost opulent, it owns everything. Rich, chocolatey, and just the final push to end your meal of Diner Decadence.

I can't take too much credit, the sun does most the work, I just toss in some delicious peaches to add that extra sweetness.
